Marie has nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with more than two decades dedicated to the air and ground ambulance industry. Her commitment to her clients is evident as she works tirelessly to support their financial success while upholding the highest compliance standards.
Throughout her career, she has developed a deep expertise in ambulance coding and insurance data management, allowing her to effectively address the complex challenges unique to the EMS industry. Her strengths in identifying process inefficiencies, implementing tailored solutions, and ensuring regulatory compliance consistently result in faster payment cycles and stronger financial outcomes for the organizations she supports.
In previous leadership roles, Marie played a pivotal part in advancing financial stability and operational excellence. When Marie transitioned from full-time employment in 2012 to establish her own billing company, one of her former employers became one of her earliest clients. Having experienced her unparalleled billing expertise and proven ability to secure timely and accurate payments, they entrusted her to continue guiding their financial success. Her initiatives not only increased reimbursement rates but also strengthened the organization’s financial foundation. Under her leadership, the organization achieved remarkable financial growth.
In 2009, Marie made history as the first individual in the United States to earn the Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) designation. She is also a Certified Ambulance Privacy Officer (CAPO), Certified Ambulance Compliance Officer (CACO), and Certified Ambulance Documentation Specialist (CADS).
